This week we released the new property detail page on zoomf.
Highlights include fancy shaking effects and fancy popups (based on the prototip stuff I wrote the other day 
) and not so fancy, but much more useful setting of the expires header to make the site more snappy.

So last Thursday, late at night, the new zoomf was born. There wasn’t actually anything new for me as I had been involved in the development of it for weeks beforehand, but it was nice to see something that I had help make on the world wide web. It kind of makes me pleased to work for a search engine rather than a crappy software company. The majority of my work went into the visual search tool, a link to which can be found on all of the results pages and its quite a nifty tool, even if I do say so myself.
However now that new zoomf is born I can get back to some real programming, rather than having use Javascript, at least until the bug reports start rolling in
